Project commentary (text fragment):

“Legend: Early morning, when the streets are asleep, the Galleries begin to creakingly extend their telescope-bridges. Museums lower the levers, connecting in chains with their kind. Exhibit cabinets straighten their accordion folds of winches. And all this commotion, creaking, rustling down the cobblestone pavements to reach the Accumulator tower, which takes the spent and gives the new, to maintain the life of these autonomous Mechanics. Just a moment, the city clock tower strikes and all comes to a standstill – the pulled in telescopes, folded levers, shifted folds, the city has come alive…”
