Bridge, 1997. 

The work was completed for the “Bridge” competition, Moscow, Russia. 1997.

Part of the “Futuristic urban education” project, as a “Mechanical work” exhibit, section “1:500 scale”.

Currently in The Centre Pompidou collection, Paris, France.

Project commentary. The Dream-Houses series. Part five. Bridge of the time wave (text fragment):

“Three bridges repeat through their triplicity the triple division of the boulevards that they connect. Three bridges – three waves, similar to the three sinusoids of time…”

Original material/colour: colour linocut, newspaper

Original size: 41×30 cm

Printed in three sizes – A5 (14.8×21 cm), A4 (21×29.7cm) and A3 (29.7x42cm) on 189gsm archival matte paper.

Sold unframed, and packaged in a transparent plastic sleeve with a heavyweight backing insert. Shipped flat in a bubblewrap lined envelope.
